Abstract: In this paper naturalness, diversity, representativeness, rarity, ecological fragility, size suitbility and human disturbance were used to assess the ecological quality of Huangcangyu, Quanshan, Yuntaishan and Baodugu Nature Reserves in Huaihai Region. Though grading and weighting these factors, the synthetic evaluating index is calculated to be 0.66, 0.31, 0.59, 0.53 respectively. This indicates that the ecological quality of Huangcangyu, Yuntaishan and Baodugu Nature Reserves was only mediocre, and that of Quanshan Nature Reserve was very poor. Finally, the problems existing in these reserves were analyzed and the corresponding proposals were put forward.
