Abstract: The requirements of nutrient condition for vegetative growth stage and generative growth stage of Lentinus edodes are discussed in this paper.On the basal medium supplemented with 6-BA lmg/l and lactalbumin hydro-lysat 0.2%, the rate of growth and dry weight of mycelium were enhanced.The growth of colony on tlie medium supplemented with 6-BA was better than the medium supplemented with β-ecdysone. When the nutrional level of the sawdust spawn was getting lower, by the addition of 2ppm 6-BA and 3% glu-cose, the differentiation of primordia and the formation of fruit-bodies were promoted. With the addition of carbon-nitrogen solution of different ratio at the base of button the fresh weight of mushroom was increased, with nutrient solution of C/N=30:1 the weight of fresh mushrooms was 73% higher than control.
