岩芋属分布区的形成和间断

摘要:

岩芋属含4种,分布于热带亚洲和热带非洲。其中岩芋 Remusatia vivipara是属内比较原始的种,其分布区的界线即为属的分布区界线。研究岩芋分布区的起源、发展和间断对岩芋属具有代表意义。本文认为岩芋及岩芋属起源于古南大陆的印度半岛,渐新世时,岩芋通过阿拉伯半岛这一通道传人非洲,并同时扩散到亚洲热带地区,至晚第三纪已到达台湾以及爪哇,从而形成了岩芋属的洲际分布区。

Abstract:

The genus Remusatia with 4 species is distributed in tropical Africa and Asia. The primitive species R.vivipara occources in an area with the same range as large as that of the genus Remusatia. The origin, development and disjunction of R. vivipara's distribution area is closely related to the genus. The writer of the present paper considers that the genus Remusatia as well as R. vivipara might be originated in Indian peninsula of Gondwanaland. During Oligocene period, Remusatia vivipara pas-sed through Arabian peninsula and furthered into Africa. In other word, they migrated directly into oth-er tropical forest regions.
