Abstract: Geocalyx graveolens (Schrad.) Nees,previously recorded in China based on misidentification should be excluded from Chinese bryoflora.Glancistipulus (Steph.) S.Hatt.is recorded here as new to China.So there is only Glancistipulus distributed in China.

摘要： 论述了已有的与茶树栽培起源相关的考古学、历史资料、语言学、植物遗传学及民族植物学证据。茶树栽培在汉代以前即出现在中国四川。云南及其邻近地区各民族很早即有可能认识和食用茶树。今天丰富多样的茶树品种则是多个民族长期驯化的结果。但茶树栽培起源的确切年代和地点仍有待发现更多新的证据。
