摘要: 暖温带落叶阔叶林是暖温带地区的地带性植被类型,东灵山地区该类型天然次生林保存状态良好。植物物种组成和群落特征是研究森林生态系统结构和功能动态的基础,对森林生态系统的生物多样性保育及生态系统服务功能等有重要影响,因此被视作陆地生态系统生物要素长期定位观测的关键指标。依据中国生态系统研究网络(Chinese Ecosystem Research Network,CERN)统一的观测规范,2007年、2010年和2015年在中国科学院北京森林生态系统定位研究站暖温带落叶阔叶林综合观测场进行了群落调查,记录了乔木(胸径≥1cm)、灌木和草本植物的种名、株(丛)数、平均胸径(乔木)或平均基径(灌木)、平均高度、生活型等信息。通过对样地数据进行整理、质控和统计,获取了优势种及其高度、物种数、密度和郁闭度(乔木)或总盖度(灌木和草本)等信息。本数据集包含56种植物(分属25科,44属)的详细数据,能体现暖温带落叶阔叶林的群落特征,并反映出该群落向成熟林发展的趋势。本数据集的建立与共享,可为理解全球变化背景下暖温带森林生态系统结构和功能动态以及生物多样性维持机制提供重要支持。

Abstract: The warm temperate deciduous broad-leaf forest is a zonal vegetation type in warm temperate regions. The natural secondary forests of this forest type are well-preserved in Dongling mountain area. Species composition and community characteristics are the basis for studying the structural and functional dynamics of forest ecosystems and have significant impacts on biodiversity conservation and ecosystem services functions, and thus being recognized as vital indicators for long-term fixed-point observation of biological elements in terrestrial ecosystems. According to the unified observation specifications of the Chinese Ecosystem Research Network (CERN), community surveys were conducted in 2007, 2010, and 2015 in the comprehensive observation field of the warm-temperate deciduous broad-leaf forest at the Beijing Forest Ecosystem Research Station of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Information such as the scientific names, numbers of individuals (clumps), mean DBH (diameters at breast height for trees) or mean BD (basal diameters for shrubs), mean heights, and life forms of trees (with a diameter at breast height ≥1 cm) , shrubs and herbaceous plants were recorded. Through the collation, quality control, and statistical analysis of the plot data, a dataset including dominant species and their heights, the number of species, density, canopy closure (for trees), total coverage (for shrubs and herbaceous plants) was obtained. The dataset contains detailed information of a total of 56 plant species ( belonging to 44 genera and 25 families), through which the community characteristics of the warm-temperate deciduous broad-leaf forests and the development trend towards mature forests were well reflected. The establishment and sharing of this dataset provide important support for understanding the structural and functional dynamics, as well as the mechanisms of biodiversity maintenance of warm-temperate forest ecosystems under global climate change.
